Singapore Airshow 2010
Singapore Airshow 2010 was held last weekend at Singapore Changi Exhibition Center. I went there on Saturday morning hoping to snap the photos of the aerial and static display of the aeroplanes. The price that I had to pay was sun burnt on my forehead, my face and my hands… red like a roasted pig head.
Luckily I still managed to snap some photos and here are some of the samples that I have taken at Singapore Airshow 2010.
My Test of Continuous Servo AF
One of my intention was to learn and pick up some experience to snap the fast moving planes using the continuous serve AF (AF-C) focus mode.
I was using a 18-135mm zoom lens to snap the flying planes. I set my camera focus mode to AF-C and focus area to dynamic. It was fairly easy to use this setting, simply press on the shutter button and the camera simply does the job on its own.
There were some moments that the camera could not focus correctly and as a result, I could not press hard on the shutter. I still could not figure out correctly yet what happened. I am not sure if that is a limitation of the camera or it might be my skill issue.
Anyway, I will find the next opportunity to test the AF-C mode again just to gain more experience with it.
