Micheal Phelps has won 8 medal in Beijing Olympics 2008 and he has become the greatest sportman who has won the most number of Olympics medal in history.

Have you evered wonder what does the greatest sportman, Micheal Phelps, eat everyday? Maybe you like to do that too to prepare yourself to become the another greatest sportman in the world.

Take a looks at Micheal’s daily menu:

Breakfast: Three fried egg sandwiches with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions, and mayonnaise.
A five-egg omelet.
A bowl of grits.
Three slices of French toast with powdered sugar.
Three chocolate pancakes.
Two cups of coffee.

Lunch: A pound of pasta with tomato sauce.
Two large ham, cheese, and mayo sandwiches on white bread.
Energy drinks.

Dinner: A pound of pasta with tomato sauce.
Six to eight pizza slices (basically, a whole pizza!).
Energy drinks.

Micheal takes in nearly 12,000 calories of diet everyday. That’s 6 times more a normal person needs on average.

I can’t imagine myself to take this kind of diet, instead of becoming a sportman, I will become a Big Fat Potato in just 3 days time.

Malaysia Going for the Gold Medal

Badminton is one of my favourite sport, as a Malaysian, we used to watch Thomas Cup, Malaysia Open, and all other badminton grand competition in the world. Today, Malaysia badminton team set another great milestone in the Beijing Olympics by having Lee Chong Wei entered the final after beating the Korean player.

Well done to Lee Chong Wei, and I am sure the journey is not end yet as he stands a chance to create a historical moment in Malaysia by winning the first Olympics Gold for Malaysia. Yeah… ;-)

Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony 2008

Beijing Olympics 2008 has finally started on the Aug 8, 8:08pm. I was truly impressed by the opening ceremony. It was a great show to showcase the culture of the Chinese.

Finally, the final torch bearer was out, it was Lee Ning. Wow, I am also impressed by the way that it was hoisted up around the stadium to show the world about the chinese kungfu.

I was also truly shocked to see the amount of fireworks used in the opening ceremony. Though I would agree that the fireworks are spectacular. However, I had a feeling that it was overdone. Does it mean to tell the world that Chinese is the inventor of firework?

Also, I have been to some fireworks show before, the air was terribly bad after the fireworks as the smoke spreads. So, imagine many people has been complaining that Beijing had very bad air quality, and the use of big amount of fireworks will definitely make it worse.

Though it is magnificent and spectacular to see such big amount of fireworks in the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony. I think Beijing should also show some actions on how they are doing to better protect our mother earth and they should use this golden opportunity to tell the world that it is committed to go green as well, I am just a bit disappointed that they did not do anything on that. It just left me a remembrance of such spectacular opening ceremony while it also reminds me of the cyclists competes on the roads with a bad haze at the backdrop.
